This is the head for making Waldorf dolls. The head has a completely finished neck.

This product is for a doll size of 12 – 13 “

Waldorf doll pre made head and neck of dolls before sculpture of the face

The head is made of natural sheep’s wool and a cotton tubing.

IMPORTANT : The head of the doll needs to be FINISHED WITH FELTING TECHNIQUE and you need to make a facial expression on it.

How to choose the size of the head?

Choose whether you want the doll to have a face sculpture or not.

THE HEAD THAT NEEDS A SCULPTURE OF THE FACE:

For 12″ doll choose the head of the 10.5 ” – finished felting technique the instructions in my tutorial

For 16 – 18 ” doll choose the head of the 11,5″ – finished felting technique the instructions in my tutorial

A HEAD THAT DOES NOT NEED TO MAKE A FACE SCULPTURE / TRADITIONAL DOLLS /

HEAD 12 inch (31cm) I recommend this size to create a 16 – 18″ (40 cm) waldorf dolls
HEAD 11,5 inch (29 cm) I recommend this size to create a 14″ (36 cm) waldorf dolls
HEAD 10,5 inch (26 cm) I recommend this size to create a 12″ (31 cm) waldorf dolls

Please, choose the size of the head according to the size of the doll that you want to make.

The head was made in advance and you bought your head as shown in the picture.

This pattern will help you to determine the exact hardness of the head, how it is shaped and how it is felt.
I’m sure that with it the whole dollmaking process is a much easier task!
This kind of doll head can be used even without the final sculpture of the face.
Simply skip that part of the tutorial.
